The couple met through mutual friends, but work was the main reason for their first meeting.
"We became good friends through mutual friendships, and Joana was involved in a type of business at the time, which was something that interested me as a restaurant."
Work brought them together and that's how they met, but at the meeting they talked about everything but her. From a client, he turned into Joana's partner and today they spend most of the day together.
In August of last year, the couple revealed they were expecting a baby, and while chatting about the pregnancy, Alfio shared a detail about her name. The girl will have two names, but for now they decided to share only one of them.
"I had a grandmother who is no longer alive today and I loved her very much, her name was Maria."

Alfio said he met his partner during a not-so-good moment in his life and today he feels more than happy to be by her side.
