Through a post on Instagram, Landi reacted to all the hatred that has been pouring towards his friend recently (especially after Selin's father's statement).
According to him, Miri is far from what is being portrayed in the media and everything is being exaggerated.
Good is not what is intentionally being portrayed and hyperbolized in the most superficial way on social media or otherwise, as the result of one or several specific moments, photos/videos, etc.
We have followed Miri (friends and relatives whom I salute for their support) very carefully. Big Brother was the format that, with or without grace, invites you to be more than attentive. So far, Miri does not belong to it and even less does it deserve this kind of "heat wave" or "emergence from the riverbed" of unbridled and unbridled comments from anyone who can."
He then focused on all the insults directed at social media. According to him, the latter are not only directed at Miri, but also at the West Side Family.
"As a group, we have always been, are and will be in opposition to anti-values, true in what we have given and give to the public and far from discrediting or denigrating the individual, but, damn it, we can't expect the same from everyone.
Miri has never intentionally harmed anyone. Not even us.
We have been and are in a HATE AT FIRST SIGHT status
, but we have always
overturned this with good deeds. Good for us too.Miri is part of the respect the public has given him as
part of the West Side Family. He has never abused this respect and he is not doing so. Neither have we.Miri has his family (wife, daughter, mother, father, brother, etc.) respected
and distanced from attacks, accusations, or mudslinging towards third parties. Me too."
Despite all the drama, which he considers exaggerated, he expected this to happen, as he knows the world of entertainment. This, he said, is a cost they took on when their friend decided to be part of "Big Brother."
"As part of showbiz for 27+ years, although not publicly, we have often been through such situations and even worse and we know very well that television, radio, media, entertainment, opinion leaders, juries, etc., so one by one, as well as everyone, have the opportunity to exaggerate a situation, as
do a few individuals who, through messages, simply because they can, write as they wish. We are clear and aware of this fact
.Ultimately, this is the "cross" or blessing and at the same time the curse and cost that Miri, but also we as the West Side Family, have taken on in our mission, both when we were three, and now.
We are not saints, but certainly and absolutely not part of the guillotine! We have not and will not vomit bile against anyone!
"It's good that others do the same, but in this case, the aunt would no longer be an aunt, but an uncle."
