Giorgio Armani's Spring/Summer 2026 show, held at the Brera Gallery in Milan, became an extraordinary event, not only for the collection presented, but also for the atmosphere that was created. Famous names of cinema and art, such as Cate Blanchett, Richard Gere, Glenn Close, Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson, were present to pay tribute to the legendary designer, just a few weeks after his death on September 4, 2025, at the age of 91.
In a series of Instagram posts, the Armani fashion house described the collection:
“These silhouettes carry the emotional charge of what is soon to be revealed. With textures shaped by sea light and hues that echo the warmth of metals, each look straddles the line between shadow and shine, each silhouette a gateway to the discovery of the collection.”

This show was held a few days after the inauguration of the exhibition "Giorgio Armani, Milan, for love", also at the Brera Gallery, an exhibition that brings together over 100 works representing five decades of creativity. The works were selected by Armani himself in the last months of his life.
In a statement from his company, it is said that the designer "had worked until the last minute" to organize the fashion show and exhibition, as unwavering proof of dedication, respect and commitment to work, values ??that have defined his entire life and career and that he has instilled in his collaborators over the years.
However, in his latest interview, published in the Financial Times on September 29, Armani also confessed to a personal hostage:
"The only thing I regret is spending too many hours working and not enough time with friends and family."
