Shpat Kasapi has been in the spotlight due to news that he and his brother were brutally raped at a wedding, because Shpat, who was a singer at the party, may have gone drunk.
Although the singer himself stated that "it was all a misunderstanding with the wedding guests," Selvija, Shpati's (ex-)wife, made a somewhat surprising reaction on Instagram. In a photo published with her back to a western landscape, she wrote:
"I don't take revenge because God is the creator, karma exists, and people who are ugly on the inside end up destroying their own lives."
Sure, it could be coincidence, but not always "coincidence is king of the world", sometimes, it could just be a saying on Instagram.
As for Shpati and Selvija's relationship, since the news of their divorce broke, it has been an unsolvable conundrum. Initially, Selvija announced (via Instagram and hinting a little indirectly) that she was starting a new life; Shpati told us again on Instastory that "let's not make a mistake that a woman doesn't forgive you, but leaves you", then the singer appeared in an interview with "Kosova Live", saying: "I'm not divorced. Next question."
The show's moderator insisted that they deleted the photos from Instagram, while Shpati replied: "Next question. It doesn't mean that if you don't break up you can't have photos."
Later, when asked about the news release, he explained:
"Eh, they did. Ask Selvije. Selvije is a type - because it is known that every couple has arguments - Selvije expresses all the emotion and sensitivity. Then and maybe she regrets it, but that's the type. She did it, now she is also writing a book about these different situations, we got a little carried away and that was the story."
So everything, according to Shpati, was simply a crisis that was overcome:
"It was blown up a little, it's news that was blown up a little. I was at fault, my negligence in the life I lead, that was a big reason. We all make mistakes in life."
Meanwhile, Selvija may have refuted Shpati's interview a bit.
In a story published on Instagram, Selvija published an expression that, let's put it bluntly, seems like an indirect response to Shpati's interview:
"How many of you have saved someone's reputation by not telling your side of the story?" she asked, and here we are, in a puzzle that no one can solve.
