If there is one artist who avoids empty hyperbole and chooses to tell things at the right time, in her own way – it is Tuna. Recently invited to “The Dalina Show” by Andale Media , the singer revealed for the first time publicly that she is working on a new musical project that, as she herself described it, can be considered as the “Fortuna 2” phase.
For those who don't remember exactly (although, how could you forget?), "Fortuna" was one of the most complete and unique projects of her career. The album, released in March 2019, contained 7 songs that became hit after hit.
Collaborations with well-known names such as Armend Rexhepagiqi, Aida Baraku, Darko Dimitrov and Ylli Limanin turned the album into a strong and very personal comeback for Tuna.
It was a bold move at a time when the "album" had gone out of fashion for many Albanian singers. But not for Tuna.
But now, she's returning to the lab where the magic happens.
Asked by Dalina if we will witness more collaborations between her, Armend Rexhepagiqi and Aida Baraku, Tuna responded without hesitation:
"That's where we are. That's where we are in the process. The most fantastic thing that's been happening to me lately, because this is where I give my soul. This is where I see my art."
And with this news, the artist added that this is not simply an attempt to "capture" her former success. Quite the opposite.
"I'm happy that we're in a 'Storm 2' phase, if I can call it that. I never want to refer to past success, I want to make a better version of myself. We're aiming to make a version of the album, we're aiming to give a piece of our soul each and every one of us, I'm talking about the team I've had since the beginning, Armendi, Aida, Darko. We're enthusiastic to the max about this thing because we've felt the feedback from the last album, which came very spontaneously. When things happen like that spontaneously, you experience success differently."
Dalina, with the curiosity that such news would arouse in all of us, asks what to expect this time. Tuna, in the same reserved but direct tone, explained:
"What has happened to me, those stories I have experienced in recent years, about which I have been silent, and perhaps a few shows with you would not be enough for me to sit down, to let loose, to tell, to speak to the public... we will tell them in song."
And here's the key to this whole story – we're not going to get a second "Fortuna" as a photocopy. It will be a new chapter, but one that is now finally finding its own voice, for all the personal stories that Tuna has decided to tell through her art.
