They often say that opposites attract, and it's not uncommon to find that two things that shouldn't go together somehow work together. (Anyone who's ever mixed chocolate with popcorn at the movies should know what we're talking about.)
Traditionally, we wouldn't say that summer dresses and boots make the most sensible combination, but recently, we've seen a few outfits that have managed to convince us otherwise. A strappy summer dress and a pair of winter boots may be a combination that sits on completely opposite ends of the wardrobe spectrum, but we think this synergy is partly why they work so well.
