Austria, with JJ and the song "Wasted Love", was declared the winner of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, securing maximum points in the rankings from the jury, the public and the other competing countries.
However, among the 26 participating countries, two failed to receive any points from the public televoting. One of them was the host country, Switzerland, which collected a total of 214 points, all from the jury, while the public gave it no points.
The other country that failed to excite the public was the United Kingdom. The singers of the group "Remember Monday" received a disappointing result, after receiving 0 points from the televoting. This is the second year in a row that Britain has not received any points from the public at Eurovision.

Meanwhile, JJ with "Wasted Love" was declared the winner with a 79-point difference over Yuval Raphael, who represented Israel with the song "New Day Will Rise".
In total, Austria collected 436 points, a combination of jury and public votes. Israel collected 357 points.
Meanwhile, Albania ranked eighth. What is very important is the very good representation of Shkodra Elektronika, which was highly appreciated by the public.
Eurovision took place in Basel, Switzerland, under the theme "Welcome Home", following Nemo's victory with the song "The Code", which took them home last year after Celine Dion's victory in 1988.
