Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, taking office for the second time. During his speech, Trump declared that upon returning to office he would put America's interests first every day of his administration. He added that the American Golden Age begins now.
"America's golden age begins now. From today on, our country will be respected around the world again. No one will take advantage of us anymore. Every day of my administration, I will put America first. Our sovereignty will be restored, the scales of justice will be rebalanced. The weaponization of the Justice Department will end. Our priority will be to create a free, prosperous nation. America will be greater, stronger than ever," he said.
He also emphasized that in the US there will be only two genders: female and male.
Elon Musk is at the center of criticism

Elon Musk stirred controversy on Monday when he gave a series of fascist-style salutes during Donald Trump's presidential inauguration celebrations.
"I just want to say thank you for making it happen," the owner of SpaceX, X and Tesla, the richest person on earth and a major Trump donor and advisor, told Trump supporters at the Capital One Arena in Washington.
Musk then slammed his right hand across his chest, fingers extended, before turning his right arm in an upward diagonal, fingers together and palm facing down.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which campaigns against anti-Semitism, defines the Nazi salute as "raising the outstretched right arm with the palm down."
This salute was used by fascist regimes of the 20th century, particularly by Fascist Italy under Benito Mussolini and later by the Nazis in Germany. For this reason, it is today considered a symbol associated with totalitarian ideology.
Pope describes Trump's planned migrant deportations as a 'shame'

Pope Francis has criticized US President-elect Donald Trump's plan to deport immigrants, calling it a "shame".
The Pope, speaking during an Italian television interview, was asked about the incoming Trump administration's plans to deport undocumented immigrants through an aggressive scheme of executive immigration orders by the incoming president.
"If it's true, it would be a shame. This is not the way to resolve things," Francis said during Sunday's interview.
The Pope has made advocacy for migrants a key part of his papacy, insisting that they should be welcomed and integrated into society.
