Ellen DeGeneres publicly congratulated her partner, Portia de Rossi, on their 20th wedding anniversary.
The well-known presenter made a post on "Instagram", where she wrote some warm words of love for her partner.
Initially, she expressed her love and thanked him for being by her side during these 20 years.
"20 years ago today, we started this relationship, not knowing what a beautiful adventure it would be. You are the best thing that ever happened in my life. You take care of me. You help me see the good in everything. thing. You lift me up when I'm feeling down. You're such a beautiful soul to have as a partner in this crazy life. My best friend. The love of my life."
At the end of her post, she clarified that the news circulating that their UK farm was destroyed by a flood is not true.
"Thank you for being you and loving me. We have been so happy traveling and exploring the world together for the last 20 years and can't wait for our first snowy Christmas. PS For those interested, our farm in the UK is not never flooded it."
After the victory of Donald Trump, known for his not very friendly approaches to LGBT, Ellen DeGeneres left the USA for Great Britain.
