Monika Kryemadhi has made a reaction on social networks, after the news that Ilir Meta was arrested. Also, it was reported that Monika Kryemadhi has been assigned the measure of "obligation to appear", together with another former deputy of the LSI.
"Dear journalists for whom I have a lot of respect and who today are reporting news served by government propaganda about the next attacks of justice against the Albanian opposition. "I have not yet learned about a court decision that would impose security measures on me or the father of my children," she said.
Further, he added:
"As soon as I am informed about these justice decisions, I will respond with all legal and public steps. Persecution by justice as a weapon against the political opponent, as well as the public trial that is being done to us, does not stop the opposition in uncompromising battles to protect the public interest.
Starting from the Incinerators and ending with every other just battle we are fighting for the Albanians."
Ilir Meta, the leader of the Freedom Party, was arrested before holding a press conference today (October 21, 2024).
