More than a third of employed women worry that age negatively affects their work (38%), according to a new study.
A survey of nearly two thousand participants employed in various companies revealed that the fear of aging in the workplace is real.

This study showed that women are more concerned about age in the workplace, due to the impossibility of frequent physical movements, health problems (42%), the amount of work they can do (37%), as well as the transition through a major health change, such as menopause (23%).
The results showed that health is a common topic of discussion in workplaces, showing that 55% of employees feel comfortable talking about anything and everything with their colleagues, men more than women (62% vs. 53%). .
The study conducted by Talker Research for the company Intimina showed that when it comes to women, in particular, those who work with female managers are more likely to feel like their workplace is a safe space for all conversations (57 % versus 48%) .
"We understand that women experience menopause and menstrual symptoms to varying degrees," says Dunja Kokotovic, global manager of a clothing firm. "While some can manage these symptoms with minimal disruption, others need time to heal and maintain their overall well-being."
Despite the fact that leave is never enough, 73% of women believe it is important for workplaces to create an environment where women feel comfortable asking for time off or assistance due to menstruation or menopause.
But beyond the problems and impact of age on work performance, it seems that women have some favorite topics that they choose to talk about more.
