Although Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are moving forward with the divorce case, it is said that there is no feeling of revenge between them. In fact, they hope to keep things "friendly" beyond the split.
A source told People that while they are pursuing the legal part of the divorce, they "continue to focus on the children." Affleck has three children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and Lopez has twins Emme and Max with ex Marc Anthony.
"They want to show the kids that things can remain amicable beyond the breakup," the source said. "Jennifer and Ben still have a lot of love for each other and it shows."
Last week, Lopez and Affleck set the best example of how a couple, despite being famous and with divorce papers at the lawyers, can still dine together, include the children in their outings, and even be seen hugging without no problem.
In the photos captured outside the hotel, Lopez and Affleck were seen standing next to a black car, the singer wearing jeans and a golf, while the actor sported style, wearing a blue shirt and sneakers.
According to the same source, Jennifer and Ben are focused on the financial details of the divorce, but they want their relationship to remain very friendly.
"A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer isn't going to be selfish about it. She's happy to see her kids together with ex Affleck, and the fact that kids are her top priority means the artist has this approach."
