Faith is an important element that not all people have! Some cultivate it over the years, while others try to adapt, especially in certain situations such as a job interview, meeting a person you haven't seen for a long time, etc.
What if we told you that there are some simple tricks to look confident in any situation without much effort?
If you have trouble standing out from the crowd, don't blame your personality or your looks, because psychologist Francesca Tighinean says it's all in your words and the way you express them.
Do these three things to look confident no matter the situation:
-Don't use filler words
If you are used to saying "Hey", "I don't know", "You know how"...? Well, don't because filler words add little or no value to what you're saying. It's easier for others to take you for granted when you have nothing of substance to say than when you use filler terms. Better to keep quiet or speak up when you have something important to say, which makes people respect you more.
-Stop apologizing
You don't need to apologize unless you're really wrong about something. Starting the conversation by saying "I'm sorry" or using it in every sentence doesn't make you sound confident.
-Don't underestimate yourself
How do you expect others to treat you with respect if you can't value yourself? Putting yourself down in every sentence does not create a strong image of you, quite the contrary. So show a lot of confidence when you speak, both in terms of your tone and the words you choose to express yourself.
