The humanitarian crisis in southern Gaza is rapidly worsening, various humanitarian organizations and the UN report. The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Narges Mohammadi, has been sentenced to another year in prison, her lawyer said, adding that his client has been sentenced again for propaganda against the system.
She was convicted for calling on voters to boycott Iran's parliamentary elections and for sending letters to politicians in Europe. Furthermore, she was also sentenced because she had spoken about torture and sexual violence against a journalist and activist.
