Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are reportedly no longer together, and the reasons seem to have something to do with Tom Brady, the supermodel's ex. A source told InTouch Weekly that "too much attention" to Valente, the jiu-jitsu martial arts trainer Gisele has been romantically involved with since last year, is among the reasons for the split.
"Joaquim is a regular guy," the source said. "He's not used to all the attention he's been getting."
While it remains unclear when exactly Bündchen and Valente may have split, they haven't been photographed together since late April.
But what does the former supermodel have to do with this whole story? The reason for this was a special that appeared on the Netflix platform, where Tom Brady was the protagonist and was teased by comedians Kevin Hart and Nikki Glaser about his ex-partner and her lover.
"Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce, and he hated that fact," the same source added. During studio chats, the comedians teased Tom about Gisele several times, saying, "Tom, you have to knowing that your ex's boyfriend can beat you up,” conversation that was followed by thousands of viewers.
They also joke that the only good thing Gisele could do was to try jiu-jitsu and martial arts from her partner. It seems that all of this influenced Joaquim to withdraw from romance, for the sake of the excessive media attention, but also the signification from the media about the relationship with Gisele.
