
Gaza/Hamas says 3 Israeli hostages have been killed by airstrikes

Hamas has stated that the Israeli army has killed 3 of the hostages who were taken hostage near Tel Aviv on October 7, 2023. According to Hamas, one of the victims had American citizenship. Their murder occurred during the special rescue operation of four other hostages.
The militant group said on Telegram: "We inform you that your army killed three prisoners in the same camp, one of whom has American citizenship." Along with this information, they also released a video, in which they warned that the other hostages will not be released until the exchange of Palestinian prisoners held in Israel takes place.
Joe Biden says that Russia will not stop only in Ukraine

According to the US President, Joe Biden, President Vladimir Putin has no plans to stop except in Ukraine, warning that the whole of Europe is under threat. The president made the statement after a meeting with Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
Biden added that the US will not allow Putin to attack Europe and continue progress in Ukraine: "The US is supporting Ukraine. I repeat that we will not abandon it", he said, while Macron thanked him for his stance.
The UN demands the release of its 11 officials, imprisoned in Yemen

Nine men and two women officials working in various UN agencies have been imprisoned by Houthi rebels in Yemen over the past three days. "The United Nations demands their immediate and unconditional release," said a UN spokesman, Stefan Diyarik.
He added that the UN is very concerned about the arrest of its staff, especially because the rebels have not given any reason for the arrest. The arrested persons work in different agencies such as: Human Rights Agency; Development Program and the World Food Programme. Another prisoner works in the office of the Special Envoy and one of the women is the wife of one of the employees.
USA/ Pro-Palestinian protesters surround the White House

Pro-Palestinian protesters gathered again, this time near the White House, demanding an end to the war in Gaza and for the US to stop supporting Israel in destroying the Gaza Strip and killing innocent civilians. Meanwhile, security measures were increased at the White House.
The protests have already continued for months in the USA, especially for the support that the superpower is giving to Israel, with which it has an important diplomatic relationship. Numerous gatherings of demonstrators have taken place around the White House, marches, bridges, trains and airports have been blocked. Students have also protested, setting up tents in the respective universities. Protests have also taken place in Biden's cabinet, as 8 officials have resigned, as they are against the president's policies.
