A military helicopter has crashed in Kenya, killing 5. The five dead soldiers were traveling in western Kenya. There were 3 other people on board the helicopter, who survived.

Sweden passes law on gender reassignment at age 16

The Swedish parliament passed the law that lowers the age at which people can change gender. Now, people over 16 years old will be able to change their gender, after the decision that was approved in the parliament with 234 votes in favor and 94 against. Previously, the age was 18.
Although Sweden was the first country to legalize gender transition since 1972, the new law has sparked controversy. Some say this is a game-changing law, while critics say more research is needed. The law will come into force in July 2025. Germany/ 2 people are arrested on charges of espionage

Two German-Russian people have been arrested in Germany, as they are suspected of espionage. One of them is accused of agreeing to carry out attacks on potential targets, including US buildings, in order to sabotage aid to Ukraine. The suspects, Dieter S. and Alexander J., were arrested on Wednesday in Bavaria.
According to prosecutors, Dieter S. had talked about possible acts of sabotage with a person connected to Russian intelligence. The communication had started since October and Dieter's role was to contribute to undermining the support that Germany is giving to Ukraine. Dieter had agreed to carry out bombings and arson attacks on infrastructure used by the military in industrial buildings in Germany.
