Gaza/ The leader of Hamas confirms that his 3 sons have been killed by Israeli attacks

News in minutes: What's happening in the world

Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, confirmed to the Arab media that his three sons were victims of the air strike in Gaza. Hazem, Amir and Muhammad and several of Haniyeh's grandchildren have died during an attack on the refugee camp in western Gaza.

Some unclear images circulated on the network, which raised suspicions about the death of the leader's sons. These are not the first members of Haniyeh's family to be killed in the war – another son was reportedly killed in February, while his brother and nephew were killed in October, then another nephew was killed in November.

Arizona/Supreme Court approves abortion ban

News in minutes: What's happening in the world

The Arizona Supreme Court upheld the abortion ban. Almost all abortions will be banned in clinics across the country, and this decision has sparked much controversy in civil society.

The court's decision ends nearly all abortions in the country, and Democrats immediately criticized the decision, blaming former President Trump for losing access to abortion after the US Supreme Court ended abortion rights nationwide and allowed passing laws like Arizona's, which went into effect in 1864.

The UN will discuss the draft law on the genocide in Srebenica

News in minutes: What's happening in the world

The draft resolution, which suggests declaring July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance of the Srebenica Genocide, will be discussed by the United Nations on April 17, in a closed-door meeting. In July 1995, Bosnian Serb forces killed over 8,000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica. The crime was declared genocide by the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The draft resolution also emphasizes the importance of completing the process of finding and identifying all victims of the genocide in Srebrenica and calls for the identification and continued prosecution of the perpetrators of the genocide.

Biden raises his voice against Netanyahu: "He is making a mistake in Gaza!"

News in minutes: What's happening in the world

Joe Biden has been tough on Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, stressing that the way he is handling Gaza, he is making a mistake and that he does not agree with his approach.

"I think what he is doing is wrong. I don't agree with his approach," Biden said in an interview with Univision. He added that Gaza should have "full access to all food and medicine" in the next six to eight weeks.

Also, Biden has made US support to Israel a condition. He said last week that US support for Israel would depend on allowing aid to Gaza. On the other hand, Israel denies that it intervened and stopped the distribution of aid, but accuses the UN, saying that its agencies have failed in this process.
