The so-called "intermittent fasting", the method of nutrition that concentrates the consumption of meals in a space of 8 hours, is not as safe as you think.
A new study just presented to the "American Heart Association" has come to the conclusion that people who limit food consumption to 8 hours or less are more likely to be affected by cardiovascular problems.
The study, conducted in 20,000 American adults, found that the risk is high and affects those who have a genetic tendency to get heart disease and not only.
It is emphasized that no method of nutrition that limits the schedules of meal consumption ever reduces the risk of death from thrombosis or cardiovascular problems.
The study adds that good nutrition is crucial to longevity and it is suggested to follow the basic time distribution of food which coincides with the consumption of 3 full meals within 12-16 hours.
