Selena Gomez gets upset every time she thinks about her comments in the past, referring to her body and says that she has treated herself very badly.
The singer and actress, 31 years old, who for years has given interviews where she has spoken openly about the image she has of her body, due to the changes it suffers from lupus and bipolarity, has documented her journey in "My Mind & Me".

This time, in a confession at the SXSW panel, the artist said: "I get sick when I hear the things I said about myself at the beginning", emphasizing that the documentary was shot about 6 years ago. "But I think everyone can have that feeling. It is important to speak kindly to yourself, but I believe I did not understand this at first".
She said she was inspired to speak out about her mental health after feeling like she didn't fit in in the entertainment industry. “There were a lot of people who took care of me more than I took care of myself. I hit rock bottom," she confessed, revealing that it took her some time and effort to recover. "I want to think and hope that I'm in a better place now," she continued.
A role in her well-being has also been played by her relationship with Benny Blanco, with whom she confirmed her relationship in December 2023. She described Blanco as "the best thing that has happened in her life".
