We all have people in our lives who don't gain a single gram of body weight and we often wonder what their secret is.
It could be a regular food diet, excessive dedication to the gym, genes, or a combination of factors. Regardless of the motives or the truth, they are lucky people, unlike a part of the population or people who are in a daily "war" with kilograms.
But apparently there are three things that these people never do. That's what it's all about!
#1 They eat healthy
Chances are, people who have a body weight that reflects being fit and lead a healthy life make good dietary choices, from foods without a lot of added sugars and fats to fruits and vegetables. Regardless of the effect of this regimen on their weight, one thing is certain: A healthy diet helps prevent diabetes, stroke, heart disease and other life-threatening problems.
#2 They eat until they are full
Not only that, but it is very helpful to understand what you are eating. It takes the brain 20 minutes to register the signal that you feel full. Not only what we eat, but also how we eat, how fast we eat, late or early have a great impact on your physique. You should stop eating when you feel full. Digestion is a process that begins next.
#3 They are physically active
Most people who have a normal body weight are also physically active. Research shows that you're more likely to gain weight when you sit for long periods of time. Experts recommend at least 150 minutes of intense physical activity per week. But if you want to lose weight, or keep it off, you need to exercise even more, according to the Mayo Clinic, one of the most famous in the US.
