The morning routine advised by psychologists and health experts

The morning routine can be a challenge in itself, sometimes even for those who consider themselves "morning people". If you're dealing with a busy schedule and taking care of your family, mornings can be tiring. That's why it's important to have a routine that aims to make you feel good and prepare for the day ahead. Health experts and psychologists advise the 30-minute technique.

The first 2 minutes
The first minutes when you wake up are very important, as it is probably where you determine the state with which you will start the day. The first thoughts should be something like: I am happy, I feel so good, success awaits me, etc. These thoughts may not come to you automatically in the morning, so try to repeat them before you sleep.

5 minutes: Mind techniques and deep breathing
Apply techniques that "clear" your mind, which can be a form of meditation or prayer. These forms help you start the day better. Breathing exercises are also advisable for calmness. While lying in bed, take a deep breath in through your nose, hold for five seconds, and exhale through your mouth.

5 Minutes: Journaling
The urge to grab your phone or laptop is probably stronger, but wait a minute. Experts suggest keeping a "diary" where you write something positive. Some studies suggest that this practice is beneficial for brain integration because it helps integrate parts of the brain, which include language and creative skills, increasing creativity for the rest of the day. Writing something positive — such as three things you're grateful for or a positive goal for the day — can help improve your mood. If writing is not for you, you can try listening to music.

5 minutes: Write down the tasks
Having a to-do list helps us to define the work plan, deal with the essential things without having to feel overwhelmed.

10 minutes: Time for the family (and/or animals)
After the 17 minutes you have dedicated to yourself, you have 10 minutes of time for the family. Some parents may struggle here, especially those with young children.

Do you have a few extra minutes left? Use them for the phone.
