There are many things on the list of ways people want to spend their time, especially during a long trip and sitting for hours on a plane. Some of the things we do wrong are listed below:

-Wear inappropriate clothes

The fact that you will be sitting for six or eight hours in a plane seat means that you need to be as comfortable as possible. Avoid thick or tight clothing and instead choose soft and stretchy fabrics for maximum comfort.

- Look at the clock often

If you do this often, it will seem like time goes by very slowly, especially during a long plane flight.

-Travel without sleeping gear

Earplugs, to isolate yourself from any possible noise during the trip. Other than that, an eye mask and a good night's sleep are all recommended to feel comfortable on the plane.

- You don't download movies, good music or podcasts

Before your flight, download movies, music to your electronic devices like your phone, iPad or laptop and make sure they are fully charged before you travel so that you can be entertained during the long hours on the plane.

-Travel without a sleep plan

It's important to understand what you'll be doing on a flight, but is your goal to get off the plane with a red eye? Try to sleep while traveling at night, avoid caffeine before boarding the plane and enjoy the flight.

-You feel compelled to talk all the time

When you travel with colleagues, you don't have to sit next to them, as they don't need to see you sleeping or snoring in your sleep. Choose a place where you will feel comfortable during long hours on the cloud.

-Eat only airplane food

Unless you're sitting in business class, you don't have many meal options, so it's best to eat something a little before the flight so you don't feel on an empty stomach.

-Neglect self-care

Being on a long flight can feel like some kind of alternate reality where time and rules don't apply, but it's still important to take care of yourself and your body when you can. Remember to stay hydrated and get the right vitamins.
