We know that underwear is a delicate garment that requires extra care when it comes to washing it.
The recipes are not visible, so stains or sweat are not immediately noticeable, but they still need to be washed. "The dangers of keeping unwashed recipes on the body are many, as the bacteria rubs against the skin and leads to infections from irritant dermatitis to allergic dermatitis," dermatologist Leah Ansell tells HuffPost.
"The recipes can be worn three to four times a week, but they can't be washed after every wear, unless you go to the gym every day, go for a long walk or go for a bike ride," says Laura Bruke, an underwear designer in New York.
"I wash my underwear by hand at least once a week, and the sports ones after every session at the gym or sports activities," continues Nichole de Carle, another underwear designer.
So the answer to one of the most discussed questions is: once a week! How you wash them also matters. Experts do not recommend washing with a washing machine, but by hand, especially if the recipes have wires or soft silk material. If you put them in the washing machine, at least select the delicates program.
