Blinken toughens the tone towards Israel, for the occupation of Rafah

Antony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, has made a statement with harsh tones against Israel, after the offensive it has undertaken in Rafah, the only area not destroyed in Gaza. Blinken said that Israel's methods have caused a terrible loss of innocent civilian lives, but have not yet been able to neutralize Hamas and this could lead to an uprising.
Blinken said that the US thinks that Netanyahu should leave Gaza and expects to see concrete and reliable plans from the Israeli government for the security of this territory after the end of the war. He added that Hamas has appeared several times in Gaza and stressed that a tough move by Israeli forces in Rafah would jeopardize US relations in the Middle East.
