Selena Gomez defended her close friend, Taylor Swift, in a video that shows Hailey Bieber making a dismissive reaction as soon as she hears Taylor Swift's name.
The video, posted by @duckcopycat0 on TikTok, shows Hailey Bieber hosting "Drop the Mic" alongside Method Man, who references Taylor's 2017 album Reputation at one point.

Upon hearing Taylor's name, Hailey immediately opens her mouth and points her index finger into her mouth. Then he shrugs and continues to look at the camera. "This is the real Hailey Bieber," the video reads. "Matona [Spanish: boisterous]."
In the video in question, Selena commented, "I'm sorry, my friend is and continues to be one of the best," referring to the music industry. Selena then deleted the comment and announced that she will temporarily disconnect from social networks.
Many people were surprised by her comment. Some praised her for standing up for her close friend, while others found the comment in a video dating back several years inappropriate.
Selena could have avoided this drama, but chose not to. :)
