Once again, Ellen DeGeneres is under criticism for the way she treated one of the guests on the now-cancelled "Ellen Show" program.
According to model Emily Ratajkowski, Taylor Swift was humiliated by Ellen when her career was just getting started.
"This is scary," the 31-year-old commented in a viral TikTok video.
"She's practically begging him to stop, but Ellen keeps going."
In the commented video there were two interviews of Swift. One was from her 2019 interview with Zane Lowe, and the other from her 2012 appearance on Ellen DeGeneres. Swift isn't naming names, but she's clearly talking about her appearance on Ellen during her conversation with Zane.
The singer mentions an old interview she gave when she was 23 years old, which made her feel uneasy, because at that time, presenters tried to "shrink" her and associate her figure only with rosy chronicles.
"It's a way to 'catch' a woman who is doing her job successfully and somehow minimize her abilities," Swift continued.
DeGeneres, who apologized for cultivating a "toxic" workplace in 2020, ended her long-running program in May 2022 after 19 seasons.
