Co-parenting with Kanye isn't easy, according to Kim Kardashian.
The 42-year-old broke down in tears as she detailed the struggles of raising four children with ex-husband Kanye West on an episode of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast.
The Skims founder explained that she makes a concerted effort to protect her children from their father's controversial behavior.
"I had the best dad, I had the best memories, and that's all I want for my kids," explained Kardashian, who was very close to her late father, Robert Kardashian.
"That's what I would want for them. If they don't know the things that are being said or what's going on in the world, why bring that energy to them? That's something grown-ups that they're not ready to deal with .”
Kim adds:
"One day, my kids will thank me for sitting here and not cursing their dad when I could."
However, Kim confessed that keeping quiet about West's title scams has become increasingly difficult.
"I definitely protected it and I will still do it in my children's eyes for my children. In my house, my children don't know anything that happens in the outside world."
Kim filed for divorce in February 2022, after 7 years of marriage. They have 4 children together, North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
