The New Year comes with new goals. It's inevitable that we don't make a list of things we say we won't do again, or decide on everything new we want to achieve. Before you start with your reflection lists, it is necessary to consider all the following points.
Confidence and awareness is the most important part of our growth, so before 2023 comes, remember these:
1. Remind yourself what you have achieved during 2022
Focus on your achievements. It's important to remind yourself what goals you achieved throughout the year and be proud of them. It doesn't matter how small or big the changes are, what matters is that you have made progress and are aware of it.
2. Make a list of the new goals you want to achieve
Take a look at your life and write down everything you would like to change. Something at work/school, self-improvement, new hobbies to pursue, etc. Just make sure that the increases you consider making are realistic in all these respects. Be honest and truthful in your choices.
3. Be patient
See everything you want to achieve as a work in progress. Identify specific skills you know you have and focus on them. Be patient and remember that real goals are not sprints, but marathons.
4. Allow time to further develop your progress
Reflect from time to time and affirm your progress. Once a month (or more) go back to the agenda and see what has changed, what you have achieved and what you need to do next. Enjoy the development period, don't wait for the result immediately. Self-control will help you go a long way and your level of self-confidence or competition will increase significantly.
