Elon Musk has accused Apple of threatening to remove Twitter from the App Store without giving the social networking platform a reason.
Twitter's new owner also said the iPhone maker had banned advertising on Twitter, quipping that Apple hated free speech.
"Apple has also threatened to remove Twitter from the App Store, but won't tell us why," Musk tweeted.

Earlier this month, Phil Schiller, who runs Apple's App Store, deleted his Twitter account, a move that immediately sparked speculation that Musk's business relationship with Apple was straining.
Apple's guidelines say the company will reject apps "for any content or behavior that we believe is outside of our standards."
Musk, who has described himself as a "free speech absolutist", has alarmed advertisers who are worried he will allow hate speech to spread. Many big corporate names have stopped spending on Twitter.
