Just so you know, actor Matthew Perry recently revealed that he asked Jennifer Aniston out long before the series "Friends" started. Guess what?! Despite going out 1-2 times, the actor ended up being rejected by her!
In the new Friends memoir, Matthew clarified that he and Jen knew each other long before the series as they had met in other circumstances through mutual acquaintances.
"I was immediately attracted to her (how could I not be?), I liked her instantly and I got the feeling that she was equally intrigued by me. I thought we might have something, but it didn't turn out that way." - writes the star of Friends.
He recalls that as soon as he got the news that he would be part of the series, Aniston was the first person to break the news to him.
"I called him and told him he was the first person I wanted to share this news with. Immediately after the words came out of my mouth, I regretted it. I could feel the coldness through the phone. Now that I remember it, it was clear that I did it to think I really liked him in a different way and I just made things worse when I asked him out."
It is very clear that the beginning of the professional relationship between the two must have been awkward! The pair worked with each other from 1994-2004.
Would they become friends later? Jennifer assured her that she did, but Perry refused to be her friend because he *had feelings*.
Throughout the making of the series, he admits that his feelings for Jen never faded and that greetings before and after filming were always awkward.
