Iker Casillas, the former goalkeeper of the Spanish national team and Real Madrid, through a post on Twitter, has come out openly, saying that he is gay, but then he regretted it, deleting the post.

"I hope you respect me: I'm gay," he wrote, and many fans and colleagues welcomed his courage and statement.
The 41-year-old has made history as one of the best goalkeepers and won 167 cups in his career.
The former goalkeeper separated from his wife, model and moderator Sara Carbonero, in 2021.
Although they admitted that they parted ways, they promised to continue to stay close for the sake of the children.
