Cannabis legalization in Germany: Government slows down fears of clash with EU laws
Legal hurdles are slowing the German government's plans to allow the controlled distribution of cannabis among adults, with fears that a poorly drafted law to legalize the drug could be struck down by the European Court of Justice.
The Schengen agreement also obliges signatories to limit the export, sale and illegal supply of "narcotic drugs, including cannabis". While the German government remains on track to pass a law within the current parliamentary term to allow the distribution of cannabis, it is also seeing the latest plans in Luxembourg as a way to legalize the drug with minimal risk of breaking European laws.

During the funeral cortege of Queen Elizabeth, a young man in the crowd began to loudly insult Prince Andrew, previously accused of sexual abuse of minors, in the properties of the notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
As it appears in the video published by The Guardian, during the time when the procession followed by the queen's 3 sons, King Charles, Andrew and Edward, as well as the princess daughter, begins to verbally abuse Andrew, calling him a "sick old man maniac".
The young man's insults seem unabated and continue for about 30 seconds until someone violently pulls him from behind and the young man collapses.
Further, the camera records from behind the crowd where it can be seen that the "problematic" young man is pushed with contempt by some people and is accompanied or taken under protection by a police officer.
