Emotional maturity coincides with a high level of control of a person's emotions and reactions to the various situations he faces.
How do you know if you are an emotionally mature person?
1. Identifies emotions
You manage to identify and regulate your emotions. If you are experiencing a negative feeling, you come to understand that it is being produced by a certain thought and control the thought, and therefore the reaction.
2. Let go of situations that will not serve you
Same with people. If a situation or person breaks your limits and boundaries, you simply don't give them your attention and energy anymore.
3. Curiosity
You are a curious person and you will discover everything that surrounds you, even topics that you once didn't even want to know about interest you.
4. Accepts defects
Defects, especially those of character, are often neglected and the person who has them does not accept them. But this is not your case: you are aware of them, accept them and try to fix them.
5. Shows empathy
If someone has a problem, you try to find a solution. This makes you more human, as you can understand the feelings of the other individual. Consequently, I know how to make him feel better.
6. It does not divide people into "good" and "bad"
You know very well that everyone has traumas in life and the actions they perform are the result of these traumas.
