
Ukraine claims that Russia has orally accepted the peace proposals, with the exception of Crimea

The chief negotiator of Ukraine said that Moscow had agreed "verbally" on the main proposals of Ukraine, reports Agence France-Presse.
Negotiator David Arakhamia told Ukrainian television channels that any meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin "with a high probability" would take place in Turkey.
"The Russian Federation has given an official response to all the positions, so they accept the (Ukrainian) position, except for the issue of Crimea (annexed by Russia in 2014)," Arakhamia said.

Russia has been accused by Ukraine of using children as "human shields" in regrouping its forces. The Prosecutor General of Ukraine is collecting a file with allegations regarding the use of local children to avoid attacks when withdrawing from the Ukrainian capital and other countries.
Ukrainian photographer Maxim Levin was killed while covering the war

Maxim Levin, a photographer and videographer who worked for a news website and was a longtime contributor to Reuters, was killed while covering the Russian occupation of Ukraine. He left behind his wife and four children.
His body was found in a village north of the capital, Kiev, on April 1, the LB.ua news site where he worked said on Saturday.
Alaska Airlines publishes a gender-neutral uniform for flight attendants and staff

Alaska Airlines announced that it has published new guidelines for flight attendant and staff uniforms, uniforms which will not be for a particular gender.
"We have updated our uniform guidelines to provide more freedom and flexibility in individual and gender expression," the airline said in a statement.
The announcement comes after a 2021 allegation by an Alaska Airlines employee that the airline's uniform policy discriminated against employees whose gender expression did not conform to male and female dress codes.
