Patrick Demarchelier, fashion photographer, author of many iconic portraits of world-famous personalities, passed away at the age of 78. The announcement was made public on his Instagram account, where the cause of death is not mentioned.

Demarchelier was born in the town of Le Havre in Normandy. He worked with important figures like Madonna,

Beyonce,

Cindy Crowford,

Kate Moss et al.

and was a personal photograph of Princess Diana.

His iconic photos became part of the most famous magazines in the world such as Vogue, Rolling Stone, Elle, Glamor, Elle etc.

The photographer also collaborated with many world famous houses including Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Dior, Versace and many others.

In 2018, he was accused by 7 models of sexual assault, accusations which he denied. Patrick Demarchelier left behind his wife, Mian, with whom he had 3 sons.
