Russian forces have attacked several different areas around Ukraine. The invasion started from Donbas and so far 7 people have been killed and 9 others injured.
President Vladimir Putin warns other countries that any attempt to intervene would lead to serious consequences that have never been seen before.
According to Ukrainian officials, the initial wave of attacks included missiles, artillery and air strikes that hit military infrastructure and border positions, including air bases. Three hours after the attack, which began in the early hours of the morning, the Russian Defense Ministry claims to have "neutralized" Ukraine's air bases and air defenses.
What is happening to the citizens?
Following the declaration of a state of war by Ukrainian President Zelenskyi, citizens began fleeing Kiev to escape Russian attacks, although the Ukrainian leader urged them to remain calm. So far there have been explosions in at least 7 different cities of Ukraine.
