Prime Minister Edi Rama called on the Prosecution to launch an investigation and ruled out the possibility of a cyber attack.
"I want to apologize to all those who are rightly concerned about this interference in this aspect of their private lives. I want to emphasize that this is an event, which deserves to be thoroughly investigated. I call on law enforcement agencies to conduct this investigation to the best of their ability. "In my view, it is not difficult to see that there is a goal here that is not strong, as I said, difficult to understand and to promote instability in an effort that is not the first," Rama said.
The Prime Minister noted that so far it is suspected that there has been an internal infiltration rather than a cyber attack. "We are dealing with an intervention that should be fully investigated for its origin, but from the preliminary analysis it looks like an intervention from internal infiltration and from external infiltration not in the form of a cyber attack," he said.
Regarding the National Agency for Information Society (ANA), Prime Minister Rama said that advanced technology will be used to protect any data, blockchain.
"ANA has entered a new phase, starting to use blockchain technology that is very advanced and makes impossible any kind of action, even manual on the system as not only every digital action leaves traces but also the introduction of a person in the system it is registered, and any kind of data retrieval is impossible.
