Today, the personal data of thousands of citizens have been published. Salaries, job position and ID card number have been circulating on social media for hours and this has led to the verification by the Tirana prosecutor's office following the complaint of a group of citizens.
The Prosecution will formally request verification from the Tax Directorate and the Insurance Institute for the issuance of official documents. The published link (which we will not make public to protect the personal data of citizens) circulates on social networks and at the same time is being distributed on WhatsApp.
The lists made public include state and private institutions, which also reflect the salaries of senior officials, including those of the State Intelligence Service. Such a scandal, such as the publication of personal data comes a few months after the publication of personal data of citizens on the eve of the April 25 elections, by the so-called "patronageists".
