Kanye Omari West is now simply Ye. Without a second name, without an adjective. A court in Los Angeles approved Kanye West's request to change the name, according to Deadline and Rolling Stone.
The court decision comes two months after the rapper asked to change his birth name with the nickname he has been using for a long time. He also posted a photo on social media with a weird haircut and the caption: ¥

Ironically, his least liked album is the one of 2018, entitled "Ye".
In November 2019, he told Yeezy designer Steven Smith that if he wanted to, he could change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year.
