We can talk all day about self-confidence, but if we do not go deeper and really understand its importance, advice remains just words. What can you do on a bad day when the world looks black and white and the last thing you think about is how much you are worth.
1.
When looking in the mirror, do not listen to the negative criticism that the voice makes in your head. Comment on your features deeper than external beauty. Sometimes we address ourselves with much harsher language than we would address our loved ones.
2.
Avoid talking about weight. Often, to break the ice, we compliment our friends on "being weak!", Implying that they used to be healthy. Compliment them from the heart and avoid talking about weight.
3.
Celebrate 3 things every day. We tend to complain about the day we spent (on traffic, rain, problems at work or school), but knowing the good, we nourish the soul. Spend time with family at dinner and thank them for all the good parts of the day.
4.
Find something you love and do it persistently. Psychologists say that our virtues extend to 7 areas: contentment, wisdom, humane behavior, courage, justice, and perfection. Within each of us there are still undiscovered talents. If courage is your quality, then get involved in a mission that fights for rights. If you have imagination, write or draw. Such feelings fill you with deep pleasure.
5.
Redefine beauty for the people around you. We live in a culture in which we are judged by our appearance, hair, body, teeth, etc. If you have young children, it is important to teach them good role models; people who have achieved great things from their work and unique qualities.
