Messages with a man you do not know very well, but has returned to your new obsession are as fixed as a ping-pong game. You say something, they say something else, you say something again and boom: take in response a dry word, or in the worst case, a single word! 

Here, communication starts to stagnate, as it seems like there is no attempt to make it continue. This is exactly the moment that makes you think maybe the person in front does not want to know you, or if there is something wrong with your conversations.

But what exactly is a dry message and what are the first signs of such communication?

1. According to experts, it is a single word that can be one: "hahah", "ok" or even an icon.

2. Conversations are short, there are no questions behind and there is no interaction in communication.

3. Constantly ignore the photos, memes or videos you send.

4. The first ones never write to you

5. They do not reply to you for days and why they are there.

How to prevent "dry" communication

First find out why this happened. Your fixation may not be good with messages, or it may just be too busy. If you are really interested, analyze between the lines and you will get answers without having to ask them directly.

Another way, not to let communication die, is to ask them if they prefer to talk on the phone, FaceTime or face to face. Communicating with messages is a bit tricky as you can not read their body language, can not hear the tone of voice and can not understand when they say something serious or joking.

It is likely that a communication becomes dry due to a misunderstanding.

When is it time to give up and try again?

We do not know if you need to hear this, but flirting is supposed to be fun. If you find yourself stressed about a conversation and eagerly awaiting an answer, it's time to give it direction. An acquaintance needs effort from both sides, so do not spend time on someone who does not invest in you. 

If delays, single-word messages, or ignorance become chronic, give up and stop appearing to his / her DM. The loss is not yours!
