They say that from the way a breakfast starts, one can predict the continuation of the whole day. Experts are always saying what to consume, what not. What should we do to be more productive or what should we avoid.
Recommendations of morning practices that at first glance seem healthy, can become so tedious and toxic that compactly lose their importance. What are we talking about?
1. Consume a slow breakfast
This is advised to help you stay focused and relaxed while consuming. Of course it is a good thing, but if it does not match your reality, it may turn against you. If you have children, the priority is to give them breakfast, get them ready for school, and help them prepare. Making a long and comfortable breakfast in the middle of a quack, for example, will only increase your stress level.
2. Alarm snooze.
The fact that we try to prolong the minutes of sleep does not lead us to the right solution. By doing this we simply put ourselves in a state of stress. Listening to the alarm as it keeps ringing reminds you that you have things to do and you are thinking about them all the time. So neither sleep peacefully nor start the day.
3. Reading the news
Experts say that it is a good way to start the day and it may be true, but if you set it as a task you will get back into stress.
4. A To-Do List
Such lists may help to manage the anxiety of the moment, but not in the long run. The fact that you write down your duties and responsibilities is perceived in the mind as something accomplished and thus, the chances that you may forget to fulfill it are high. Instead, make a list of things you did.
5. Get out of bed immediately
Do not do this because you are simply putting pressure on yourself and taking charge of the rest of the day. When you have just opened your eyes, stay in bed for a few minutes to "relax" from sleep.
