The new President of America, Joe Biden has arrived in Capitol Hill together with his wife, Jill Biden for the inauguration ceremony.
Also present was Vice President Mike Pence, who arrived at the ceremony with Kamala Harris. Pence will represent the outgoing administration of President Trump, as the latter refused to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new president.

Former presidents Bush, Obama and Clinton are also taking part in Biden's inauguration.
The new president is expected to take the oath of office outside the building at noon, local time, while Biden officially takes office as president around 6 p.m.
Through a Twitter post, Biden thanked and publicly expressed his love for the First Lady, Jill Biden.

Trump, meanwhile, has left the White House wishing the new administration success, without mentioning Biden.
Trump is the first president in 152 years not to attend the inauguration ceremony.
