Throughout the day, we hear and receive news of all kinds and whether we like it or not it affects the mental state and the level of stress. What you probably do not know is that there is nothing that a glass of wine does not solve. Sit in front of the TV, a glass of red wine, a face mask (relaxing), a good serial and so on.
Aside from the fun, there are plenty of other reasons why you should not separate wine from the table and most of them are related to physical health!

May keep allergies under control
Sounds weird, but it's true. In a total of 80 studies, recently published in the journal Diseases, researchers concluded that the antioxidants found in red wine could reduce the symptoms of allergies and asthma. Of course further research is needed to confirm this conclusion, but red wine is pretty promising.

Reduces the risk of heart disease
A study conducted in 2007 suggested that some ingredients found in red grapes, help promote cardiovascular health. Wines produced in the South-West of France and Sardinia, where people have the highest lifespan, have in their composition larger amounts of this ingredient. Another study at Harvard found that wine lovers were less likely to have a heart attack.

Fiber-rich varieties can lower blood cholesterol levels. Healthy participants in one study were given grape supplements found in red wine. They saw a 9% reduction in "bad" cholesterol that blocks arteries. Participants with higher cholesterol levels had a 12% drop.

Helps prevent colds
Thanks to the antioxidants found in red wine, those who drink nearly 14 glasses of red wine a week are 40% less likely to catch a cold.
