October has not one, but two full moons. This means that this year has 13 full moons, instead of the 12 moons that should normally be.
Although the Moon will not actually look blue, the second full moon of a month is usually called such.
However, a Blue Moon seems rare, but such a Moon on Halloween is even rarer: Such an event has not happened since 1944.
The full moon will be visible by time zones, but if you are unable to see it due to bad weather, or cloud cover in your area, the Virtual Telescope Project will provide a live broadcast of the Blue Moon.
Finally, this is a strange weekend. This has been the year of the pandemic, there is a full moon on Halloween and in many places, we are hearing that tonight we have to stay home.
Each month of 2020 has brought its own surprises, which have been comparable to a genuine Jumanji game, so to help you keep calm, we suggest you see the stars. Look up tonight to see the Full Moon and take some time for yourself, in the wonders of the night sky.
