On Monday, June 15, the urban and interurban transport service will resume, according to a protocol approved by the health authorities. In a Facebook post, Prime Minister Rama announced that "it is categorically forbidden to increase the ticket price for citizens" and explained how to support this sector.
"The government will support this sector through:
? recognition as a deductible expense of 100% of oil consumption
? zero taxes and also zero local fees until December 31, 2020. ?
The Prime Minister said that "within 2020, the complete legal / fiscal reform of the sector will be carried out and on January 1, 2021, its implementation with the electronic ticket will start as a first step".
In the public announcement , the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy stated that 70% of the capacity will be allowed in urban areas and all passengers must be equipped with masks.
