Unlike previous years, for the first time state matura exams will be conducted through alternative testing , which will be corrected digitally. The director of the Center for Educational Services, Rezana Vrapi, said in a video published by the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Besa Shahini, that "the exams will be corrected through scanners".
"Since the whole test will be with alternative questions, the correction will be done digitally. Students, after completing the answers in the test, are obliged to throw them in what is called the answer sheet. This answer sheet will then be administered by the Center for Educational Services and processed through scanners. Of course this will shorten the correction time. The reliability of the correction is maximum and of course the results come out in time. ?
Vrapi stressed that by June 30, "the whole process will be over." The distribution of diplomas starts on July 1.
"Again, we announce that by June 30, the whole process is complete and all the results will be published and on July 1 [July] we will start the process of printing state matura diplomas, which will be in two stages. In the first phase, diplomas will be printed for all graduates who want to study abroad, and then in the following days the process for the rest of the graduates will be closed. ?
