Historically, the first Monday in May marked a major event for fashion and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but due to pandemic, the Met Gala 2020 was canceled. However, that did not stop Vogue from bringing back another form of the Met Gala, this time starring ordinary people.
Anna Wintour and Billy Porter collaborated and launched the #MetGalaChallenge. The challenge is simple: Choose an outfit of a famous character on the red carpet of the Met Gala and recreate it. All participants must post photos on Instagram with the hashtag #MetGalaChallenge. You have time to attend until May 3rd. Winners will be announced to be posted on the Vogue website.
