Television turned out to be a comfort we had long taken for granted. Ever since the government banned mass gatherings and shows with more than two people in the studio, our favorite programs have been turned into amateur videophones or pushed for an indefinite date, when all this nightmare ends. Such fate befell "The Sun" on Top Channel that transformed almost all segments with long-distance connections and "Orange" which was temporarily canceled. Ardit Gjebrea, on the other hand, who faced the same problems, found a creative choice for a six-hour watch band.
"Albanian Sunday" strongly supported the presence of the public, guests, children and ordinary people who addressed the program to unravel painful events or to surprise relatives. In the absence of all this, Gjebrea took it upon himself to play the mediator. Last Sunday's episode, he traveled to Vlora with his team to meet the protagonist of "I have a message for you." She personally showed her video message to the other party who accepted the forgiveness of the first. In another case, he traveled to Durres to surprise an elderly woman. If the audience can't come to him, he goes to the audience. Of course, it is a very tedious undertaking that requires maximum commitment, but it is worth it when a woman serves Gjebrea brandy on the street or when the elderly on the balcony praise and greet her from afar.
The same goes for singers; they go to the public. Yesterday, Fifi joined Gjebrea in the square between a palace complex and was interviewed there as residents listened from the balconies. The singer performed some of her songs and even though she was far away or in an unusual position with the audience, the warmth was felt more.
"We are what we eat" was held on the farm and focused on supporting local farmers and healthy eating without spending much.
Gjebrea did not forget to give his followers a performance, as they are always eager to hear him sing. He went on stage with Ema Andrean and received numerous compliments on Instagram (until the moment of publication of this article, the video was not published on Instagram).

The program also provided assistance to 40 needy families, who are in more difficult times than ever before. Instead of doctors everywhere, Gjebrea interviewed banking expert Edvin Libohova. Day by day it is felt that Albanians have received all possible information about the virus and protective measures, but know very little to cope with the economic problems that will follow this stage.
"Albanian Sunday" has always been the family program of the weekend because viewers found themselves there and continue to find it now that everything has changed in the formula. It seems as if Gjebrea entered the minds of the public and discovered what they needed; see themselves represented and find solutions. Thus, with compassion and kindness, "Albanian Sunday" turned into the spectacle we needed now.
